Spry Finance is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are continually working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to standards and guidelines.
The following are some of the things that we have implemented to support accessibility:
- Fully responsive website
- Content can be accessed through a keyboard in an accessible way
- Interactive buttons are properly labeled for screen readers and assistive technologies
- Navigation menus are marked up to be accessible to screen readers
- Naming of images
- Heading styles are used correctly to organise the structure of the content
- Fonts sizes are large and letter spacing wide enough to be readable
- Foreground and background colours have sufficient contrast
- Forms are accessible
The following are some shortfalls we are working on to improve:
- Some remaining items to provide full compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA, including
- Consistent navigation in auto-rotating carousels
- Auditing all image alt tags
- Removing embedded text from images
- Adding video transcripts
- Adding accessibility to hosted PDFs
