You are not required to provide your details or complete any registration process before you can use this website. When you use certain products and services, you may be required to provide personal information, for example, in completing a loan application. The personal information we collect from you may include: name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and information about your financial circumstances.

Spry Finance does not collect data of this nature.
Consent is required for Spry Finance to process personal data, but it must be explicitly given. Where we are asking you for sensitive personal data we will always tell you why and how the information will be used.
Why Spry Finance needs to collect and store personal data
In order for us to provide you with our products and services and to run our business we need to collect personal data for service provision and correspondence purposes. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy. We may pass your personal data on to our service providers who are contracted to Seniors Money Mortgages (Ireland) DAC, trading as Spry Finance and Seniors Money, in the course of dealing with you. Our contractors are obliged to keep your details securely and use them only to fulfil the service they provide you on our behalf. Once your service need has been satisfied or the case has been closed, they will dispose of the details in line with Seniors Money Mortgages (Ireland) DAC procedures. If we wish to pass your personal data onto a third party we will only do so once we have obtained your consent unless we are legally required to do so.
How Spry Finance uses and shares your Information
Spry Finance will process — that means collect, store and use — the information you provide in a manner that is compatible with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will endeavour to keep your information accurate and up to date and not keep it for longer than is necessary.
We will only process your information where it is necessary for us to carry out our lawful business activities. In order for us to comply with laws and regulations we may also process and share information with certain regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies.
We process your information to provide you with our products and services and to fulfil our contractual terms and conditions.
We may process your information to help us to improve our product offerings and services. We may share your information with other companies in the Seniors Money Group as required for the normal establishment or operation of your loan account.
We will not share your information with anyone outside the Seniors Money Group except:
- Where we have you your permission to do so
- Where we are required by law to do so
- Where required in order for us to offer our product or service
- With third parties providing contracting services on our behalf
- In anonymised form as part of statistics or other aggregated data shared with third parties.
- Where required for sale, reorganisation, transfer, financial arrangement, sub participation, asset disposal or other transactions relating to our business.
- Where permitted by law, it is necessary for our legitimate business interests or those of a third party, and it is not inconsistent with the purposes listed above.
Transferring information overseas
We may transfer your information to organisations in other countries that we have a commercial relationship with on the proviso that such organisations protect your information in a manner that meets our data protection requirements.
Spry Finance may wish to send you marketing information about its services from time to time. You do not have to agree to this. If you object to the use of your personal data for marketing use, please email [email protected] and ask for removal of your details.
Our aim is not to be intrusive, and we undertake not to ask irrelevant or unnecessary questions. Moreover, the information you provide will be subject to rigorous measures and procedures to minimise the risk of unauthorised access or disclosure.
We will contact you with information relevant to your enquiry about or application for a Lifetime Loan from Seniors Money Mortgages (Ireland) DAC. Communication will be in the form of post, telephone, email and web notices (www.spryfinance.ie.)
We may monitor or record calls, emails, or other communications in accordance with applicable laws.
Spry Finance creates and maintains a number of information sets relating to its customers. Information sets include both physical and electronic records in different formats. We require records to serve our customers' needs and to meet our business responsibilities.
We keep records for a period of seven years after our business relationship with a client ends unless we are required to keep records due to court order or regulatory or law enforcement requirements.
Access to your Personal Information
You have the right to be given a copy of information held by us about you. We may charge a fee for this which will not exceed €5.00 euros. We will provide the requested information to you within 30 calendar days of the receipt of a valid request in writing or by email. Applications must be sent with proof of identity such as a passport copy or driving license. We will also require applications to include any personal data, which relates to our company, such as your loan number.
You have the right to have any inaccuracies in the information held by us about you corrected, if inaccurate, or erased, if we do not have a legitimate reason for retaining that information. We will accede to any such valid requests within 30 calendar days of the receipt of a valid request by email to [email protected].
We reserve the right to request you to provide additional information in order to enable us to identify your personal data and/or to verify your identity.
Security of your Personal Information
Spry Finance is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We follow best practice guidelines to help protect your information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. Information is stored on computers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities.
No personal information will be retained for longer than is necessary.
Communicating via the Internet and sending information to you by other means necessarily involves your personal information passing through or being handled by third parties.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This legal notice and all issues regarding this website are governed exclusively by Irish law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
